COaching
For candidates entering or moving forward in private service industry
Who this coaching is for
This coaching is for private service professionals who want to enter the industry, but it is primarily designed for those who already work in private service and want to move to their next level. Many experienced professionals reach a point where they feel stuck, overlooked or underpaid, despite having strong backgrounds.
In today’s market, especially looking ahead to 2026, moving forward is no longer about experience alone. A clear strategy, correct positioning and visibility are essential. This coaching is for professionals who want to step into a better role, stronger contract or more suitable environment, but are unsure how to approach this transition in a competitive market. Typical roles include butlers, chief stewards, interior crew, PAs, personal trainers, chefs and other private service professionals working in yachting or private residences.
MY EXPERIENCE
I have over 13 years of experience working in private service across luxury yachts, private fleets, villas, chalets and private residences worldwide. I worked directly with UHNW and VVIP clients as a chief stewardess, butler, interior manager and property manager. This means I understand how hiring really works, what owners and agents look for, and why strong candidates are often overlooked.
During my yachting career, I secured roles through strong networking and solid references, and I quickly realised how important it is to build your network from the very first day. When I transitioned into land-based roles, I initially used the wrong approach, which cost me almost six months of time and missed opportunities. If I had known then what I know now about working with agents, positioning yourself correctly and building a strong portfolio, those six months would likely have turned into a few weeks.
In 2025, LinkedIn became a turning point for me. Today, I no longer apply for jobs. Opportunities come to me consistently, usually two to three per month. This is the result of a clear method based on trusted networking, correct agency approach, strong documentation and a focused LinkedIn strategy.

Common mistakes I see
-
A weak or unclear CV.
Many CVs do not clearly say what role the candidate is aiming for. Job descriptions focus on duties instead of results and successes, or include experience that is not relevant to the position applied for. In 2026, a CV must be short, precise, well structured and adapted for ATS systems. It needs to communicate direction, value and clarity at first glance. -
Missing or weak supporting documents.
Candidates often lack strong written references, portfolios, certificates or additional documents that support their experience. When these documents exist, they are often outdated, poorly presented or not aligned with the role they want. -
A weak or inactive LinkedIn presence.
Many professionals are invisible online. Their LinkedIn profile does not show who they are, what they stand for or what kind of role they are looking for. There is little or no networking. In 2026, LinkedIn is a game changer in private service and should be used intentionally to attract the right agents, family offices and opportunities. -
No clear agency or recruitment strategy.
Candidates often approach agencies randomly, communicate poorly, perform weakly in interviews and fail to follow up correctly. This pushes agents away instead of building long-term professional relationships. -
Limiting beliefs holding them back.
Many professionals carry beliefs about not being good enough, being too old, not experienced enough or “ready”. If these beliefs are not addressed, they silently block progress. Once they are recognised and released, opportunities often appear much faster than expected.

what to expect after coaching
By the end of the process, you are clear about your direction, visible to the right people and confident in how you present yourself. Instead of endlessly applying for jobs, you start being recognised, contacted and considered for opportunities that truly suit your experience and goals.
In most cases, clients secure a new role within 30 to 90 days after the coaching, provided they follow all steps and complete the work. These roles typically come with better conditions and higher pay than what they had before.
